As a certified case manager (CCM), we aim to save you time, decrease your stress level, and educate you on your loved one's healthcare journey.

Deidra is fantastic. I live far away from my brother who is disabled, but Deidra has taken away my worries. She looks after him as if he were a member of her family. She takes precautions when screening people to perform in-home services. She makes sure he has the help he needs and gets him to all of his appointments (after also making those appointments). I love educating individuals and families with the right information to make the right choices for themselves. I have over 15 years experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care, former owner of Affordable Assisted Living & Services, 5+ years as a home health nurse, 3+ years as a home care infusion nurse, and 3 years as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant.
I've always felt that the healthcare system can be an intimidating world for those who are not healthcare professionals. I've experienced this professionally and then personally when my mother became ill and was battling MS, Parkinson's, Cancer, Asthma, and Dementia. I feel a strong purpose from GOD to help others on their personal journeys. As Your Healthcare Nurse Advocate, I work for YOU. To help you have an individualized understanding of your personal journey. I have the time to help answer your questions and hear your concerns. I feel if you are educated on your personal medical journey you are equipped to make better health choices. We are Your Nurse Advocates.

The skills nurses need to become successful advocates include the ability to develop a clear and broad understanding of the issues, to know the players, and to know how their proposed solution will impact the problem being addressed.
